Leon County Schools John G. Riley Elementary School
The John G. Riley Elementary School Project was a renovation and addition to the oldest elementary school in Tallahassee. The project consisted of construction of a new Media Center, while converting the existing Media Center into a Technology Magnet with four classrooms. A Kitchen Addition and Classroom Renovations to seven buildings were also completed, along with the associated site utilities for the entire project.
Work also included the addition of a four pipe chill water system and electrical upgrades for the new Media Center and Technology Classrooms. The renovation work in the existing classroom buildings consisted of removing the existing casework, flooring, ceilings, lighting and asbestos abatement. New flooring, paint, ceilings, casework, lighting and marker boards were installed.
