FAMU Recreation Center
The three-story structure serves as the primary recreational facility for the faculty and students of Florida A&M University. The 39,000 SF facility provides adequate space for intramural and recreational sports, fitness and nutrition offices. This facility also includes spaces for meeting rooms and a wide variety of other recreational activities.
The building contains a Fitness Training Area For Free Weights, Cardiovascular Machines, Selectorized Weight Equipment, Aerobic/Martial Arts/Dance Studios, and Locker Rooms.
This project was fast tracked and also earned an Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC) Eagle Award of Excellence.
