This project will be a 110, 000 square foot expansion of the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center. It will include a new 580 bed tower, new medical housing, a secondary warming kitchen, an additional laundry.

This facility replaces one that was originally built in the 1930's, one that the county had far outgrown.
